On March 27, 2020, Jose's hands stopped forever. They resisted until they were almost 80 years old, although many thought that the would not pass the 'fifth level'. The service that he has performed sculpting lives and souls cannot be described in words, it can only be captured by knowing the lucky days that we have been lucky enough to see and feel how a master can create sculptures from a piece of stone. José Luis Nieto has taught us many things and now we have to let him go, thanking him for all that he has given us. And, those of us who stay, continue to cross this dark transition into the light, again.
